Life Is But,A Dream

THE UP AND DOWNFALL OF REALITY TV SHOWS!
 P
eople refer to reality tv as a guilty pleasure. I think we can all let go of the guilt. Many of us are watching two to three reality programmes and we are having a blast. We like to watch people in unusual settings ,master chefs at work, gifted dancers and singers-we go on the journey with reality tv. Reality tv reveals a lot about humanity. It is at once a window and a mirror, show how real people react and interact in extraordinary situations. It also forces us to consider how well we will respond and how we are responding to what we watch.
IF YOU ARE DRAWN TO REALITY TV SHOWS JUST KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
VALUES PORTRAYED ON REALITY TELEVISION PROGRAMMES.
Viewers enjoy the ‘realness’ of actual normal everyday people as oppose to watching actors been paid to act a specific character. It is the values being portrayed on reality tv programmes that is often degrading and holds bad morals. Some reality tv programmes may provide positive influence, while others are very negative. Through research, it is proven that some realty tv programmes are not worth watching, that is if the viewer believes in good morals, value and ethics. Can tv influence one’s character, believes or actions? Some people are too desperate for fame, money or whatever the case, some people seem to stoop very low and will do whatever is asked of them to be on tv and in such reality shows if you behave good, or if you are too positive, you are kicked out of the club. How is that reality when you clearly have to try your best to behave badly just to be on the show?
Despite all the negativity about reality shows, they still provide the best entertainment ever and reality shows are full of opportunities, opportunities of taking ordinary people and turning them into reality stars and celebrities. They help ordinary people to gain fame, money and the opportunity to fulfil their dreams in whatever the reality show is offering.

Life Is,But A Dream

Reality tv has taken over as the most popular genre of tv programmes.  They now include everything from unscripted dramas to makeover experiences, everyday lives of celebrities, life style-change shows, dating shows,  talent competition and more .The are currently more than 100 reality shows on broadcast and cable network channels.  When I have the time, I find myself drawn to competition reality tv shows such as “Big Brother”, ”Idols” and “Amazing race” to name a few.  The reason I enjoy these programmes is that I am one of those people who actually enjoy seeing others realize a dream come true.

                 PARTICIPANTS ON REALITY TV PROGRAMMES.

Some tv purist may view any kind of reality shows as a mere spec table of humiliation and a lower form of entertainment.  However, I have found that we could actually learn a thing or two about reaching your goals.  I know, it may sound a bit hard to believe, but stay with me here.  Fear of failure or anything that has ever held you back from going after something you’ve always wanted; pride  ,shame,  low confidence, doubt in your abilities, whatever.  If a 40-year-old more-than-a-little-overweight woman can stand before millions of tv views in nothing but a sport bra and spandex shorts, while having her weight prominently shown on an over-sized digital display, all in the name of achieving a healthier lifestyle, then you can face your own fears and go for it

INFLUENCE OF REALITY TV.

Whatever the reality show participants’ dream is to travel the world, lose weight, become the next big thing in music or fashion industry, or if all they really want is to win a considerable cash prize, these determined contestants are proactively taking the steps to make it happen. If they can so can you.
